WRITER. RESEARCHER. ENVIRONMENTAL COMMUNICATOR.
I work at the intersection of nature, culture and climate, focusing on story-telling and communications for purpose-led brands, organisations and projects. Put simply, I help good people doing good things tell their stories.
With a background in marketing strategy and creative copywriting, I spent a handful of years at VMLY&R writing for a global client. Cue the realisation that, you know what? The corporate life wasn’t really for me. Now, I work with change makers who are guided by conscience and lead from the front, rebuilding the connection between humans and nature.
Because there are better ways of doing things. Better ways to do business. To move. Travel. Explore. Create. Connect. And there are people already doing them. Like you. We just don’t talk about it enough.
I’m founder of No Bad Weather, a project on the environmental impact of the outdoor industry. The real impact. Like questioning why we’re still prioritising performance over planet, and what the presence of PFCs in waterproofing technology means for our health. What the deal is with outdoor clothing’s addiction to fossil fuels, and the true cost of a neoprene wetsuit.
TBH, I’m just a girl who loves to swim. Outside. When I’m not typing away, you’ll find me obsessing over micro-plastics or access to blue spaces, perfecting my van-life coffee routine, searching for new swim spots, or in the sea — preferably if it’s cold.
